Privacy policy
The short version: this site collects only what you type into the contact form.
Who we are
Wellyboot is a small app studio based in the United Kingdom, run by James Whincup. For anything in this policy, write to support@wellyboot.co or use the contact form.
What this website collects
- Contact form messages. Your name, your email address, the topic you choose and the message you write. We use these only to read and answer your message.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records basic technical details of each visit, such as IP address and browser type, to keep the site running and secure.
What this website does not do
- No cookies.
- No analytics or tracking scripts.
- No advertising.
- We do not sell or share your details for marketing.
Why we are allowed to use it
We rely on our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us, and in keeping the website secure.
Who else handles it
- Netlify hosts this website and processes contact form submissions.
- Linear stores contact form messages so we can keep track of them and reply.
Both companies are based in the United States, so your message may be stored there.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form messages for as long as we need them to deal with your request, and delete them sooner if you ask.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Write to support@wellyboot.co. If you are unhappy with the answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Our apps
Wellyboot has not released any apps yet. When an app is released, this page will set out exactly what that app collects before it goes on sale.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
